Residencies and Workshops

In addition to my studio paintings, I’m also an active teaching artist with more than 15 years of experience delivering art programs at schools and community centers all over Ohio. I am a teaching artist working with Center for Arts-inspired Learning, The Art House and the Ohio Arts Council.

I have designed costumes and sets for theaters and floats at different carnivals in Cuba and in Cleveland. I have worked closely with landscape architects, other artists, non-profit organizations, community groups and schools in the design of outdoor classrooms, gardens, and public places.

I have created and produced many large-scale pieces of public art in collaboration with community groups and students during short term and long term art residencies.
